Master Fang Chih Lee’s global reputation grew when five of her students entered the International Chinese Martial Arts Competition held at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston September 28, 2013. The students competed in nine Tai Chi events, winning seven gold and two silver medals. When Fang returned to Taiwan to earn her International Coach certification, the World Tai Chi Chuan Federation invited her to bring her American students to the Tai Chi Chuan World Cup Competition, which will be held in Taipei, the Republic of China, October 18-19, 2014. Teams from over twenty nations will participate including several from the United States. Eight of Fang’s students have signed up to be The America’s Hometown Team.

With the start of the new year, Fang has moved her classes to a new and exciting location in downtown Plymouth. She and her students are proud to be part of the Greater Plymouth Performing Arts Center (“The Spire”) at 25 1/2 Court Street, across from the historic 1820 Court House. Her Plymouth and Kingston Council on Aging Classes and Hope Floats classes, as well as her weekly class at Pine Hills, will continue in their current sites. Meanwhile as of January 3, 2014, the Spire will be home for the Tai Chi and Qi Gong with Fang Association classes (please see the schedule page). After extensive, extra training with Fang, three of her veteran students have become certified instructors. With this additional staff and expanded times at the new location, Fang will be able to increase the number of classes offered at the Spire.
